Meet Marcus McBeth

Marcus is a former elite-level baseball player and professional evaluator with experience at every level of the game. He played center field at the University of South Carolina, where he earned All-American honors, competing in one of the most demanding programs in college baseball. After college, he played professional baseball as an outfielder in the minor leagues, gaining firsthand experience in player development, daily evaluation, and the realities of pro ball. His career later took him to the highest level of the sport, where he pitched in Major League Baseball, giving him a rare, full-spectrum perspective of the game from both sides of the ball. Following his playing career, he worked as a professional scout for the St. Louis Cardinals organization, evaluating amateur and professional talent, projecting future performance, and helping identify players capable of succeeding at the next level. Today, he uses that background to help players and families navigate the recruiting process with clarity, honesty, and real insight. His approach is built on evaluation over hype, projection over politics, and preparation over promises; giving athletes a clear understanding of where they stand and how to move forward.
